Registered Osteopath
I previously trained and worked as an osteopath in London and Surrey in the United Kingdom, before returning to New Zealand to work in Wellington and now in my hometown of Whanganui.
I treat a large variety of patients, from desk workers and labourers to musicians and athletes. I would be best described as a structural Osteopath and my treatments include mobilization and muscle release techniques, to improve the body’s function and support patients to overcome a variety of physical ailments.
With a background in personal training and sports massage, as well as practising various sports and martial arts in my spare time, I have a keen interest in the body's function and movement. I like to incorporate different types of rehabilitation methods into my approach, allowing patients to get back to doing what they enjoy as quickly as possible.
I can also provide advice on lifestyle, ergonomics, posture, nutrition, and exercise; and believe in helping patients to understand their pain and engage in their personal recovery, while developing tools to help them maintain optimal health throughout life.
